Since its birth in 1972, the Royal Oak has remained one of the pinnacles of luxury sports watches.

The 15500ST.OO.1220ST.03, released in 2019, has the same 41mm case as its predecessor, but while the 15400ST's case thickness was 9.8mm, the 15500ST's case thickness is 10.4mm, making it thicker.

The Movement is equipped with the "Calibre 3120" which has a frequency of 21,600 vibrations and a power reserve of 60 hours, while the 15500ST is equipped with the "Calibre 4302" which has a frequency of 28,800 vibrations and a power reserve of 70 hours.

In addition, the hour indexes have been made slightly wider and thicker, and are positioned slightly inside the outer periphery, while the second hand has been changed to a stylish openwork hand.
